Our Story
Our journey began over 30 years ago, in 1990, when our founder first learned the art of window tinting. This early exposure to the trade was more than just a job; it was a passion nurtured under the guidance of a family member – an uncle who owned a tinting company. Growing up on the beautiful island of Kauai, our founder left only briefly to pursue a college degree, soon returning to the familiar shores, driven by the desire to be with family and a deep connection to the island.
Tinting windows alongside his uncle, he mastered the craft, turning it into a cherished hobby and eventually, a profession. The skills and knowledge acquired over the years became second nature, laying a solid foundation for what would become Precision Tinting Kauai. In 2006, with a vision, our founder made the bold decision to start his own window tinting business.
As a locally owned and operated business, we take pride in our roots. Our founder, an accredited window installer and educated expert in the window film industry, brings a wealth of experience and a personal touch to every project. Being a licensed contractor, he ensures that every job meets the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
